4BioPower Let's Make The World a Better Place...

...to live in! While some argue that man is not responsible for climate change or global warmer, others know it is real. Here, we believe that man has played a significant part in it. And must without question, change many of his ways of doing things - from global deforestation to carbon emissions - Man is now destine to perish, if he doesn't decide to go at it completely differently.

You can make a significant change and a better impact upon your life, if you so desire.

The Inconvenient Tree

When I conceived this idea - as with any other - there is probably someone else out there who thought of it already. So I searched and found a lot of interesting ideas about this.

No, no tree is really inconvenient. And naturally, Al Gore's name came up. In his interpretation of the use of a tree is that we plant more. In this scenario, they would be planted in the Northern Hemisphere. But according to scientist, planting more trees, where there were none, would have an opposite effect. It would actually increase the earth's temperature and not cool it down.

Another interesting find was "The Jungle Room". Where kids get to go out and plant a tree and discover that the tree is the "lungs of the earth". Sentimental, to say the least. But, on point somewhat. Because, trees are so much more. And, I found an article on the cutting down of a eucalyptus tree, in CA. There aren't that many eucalyptus trees left, you know and it is a shame anyone would want to cut one down. (but that's another story).

The central issue here is the importance of trees and the effects they have on our environment. For whatever reason they cut down the rain forrests of the world, they are doing it at alarming rates. One of the reasons is, that the lands that these trees live on, are flat. This is an attractive situation for "power generators". Not the mechanical kind but the human kind. They can put in power plants, raise cattle or feedstock, on these lands. So they cut down the trees.

The trees are very important to us, in many ways. Not one is an inconvenience to us. They "as they" are collectively gathered in the rain forests of the world, produce ozone, they buffer winds, they cool the land down, they provide shelter for insects, animals and other plant life. And it is a damn shame that they would destroy, what mother nature herself put together.

We as a whole, that is all nations, must prevent further destruction of our forests. We have the capability, we have the technology, we have the land - to produce the energy we need in places we do not have to destroy anything to do so.

The importance of the rain forests as a wind buffer cannot be overlooked. This is a very important role of these Forestry's. They are located where they are for a reason. While Scientists feel the increase in hurricanes over the last few decades and their severity can not be overshadowed by the heating of the ocean - while the wind, lashing over it's body of water, increases that temperature. So a combination of high winds and the sunlight - inner heatings of the earth have all contributed to the Earth heating up - Global Warming.
