4BioPower Let's Make The World a Better Place...
...to live in! While some argue that man is not responsible for climate change or global warmer, others know it is real. Here, we believe that man has played a significant part in it. And must without question, change many of his ways of doing things - from global deforestation to carbon emissions - Man is now destine to perish, if he doesn't decide to go at it completely differently.
You can make a significant change and a better impact upon your life, if you so desire.
300 mpg Car, Banned
They say that this car is so efficient that it gets 300 mpg. If this is the case, then it is really efficient.
I know we would all like to have one. But, imagine, a trip coast to coast in this car would only cost $20. This would break the oil industries back. Which in turn will cause the banks to fold and once they fold, the economy would go under.
At least that's the scenario that once would have unfolded, for banks to go under, due to their heavy investments in the Auto Industry. But it would certainly collapse the oil industry, where new money is always put into that industry. too.
This is not the first time the United States government suppressed and swept under the rug a car that was considered to be economically efficient and environmentally friendly. The problem as I had stated above and that it is too good of a good thing, that it will crush us.
At some point in time, though, they will have to allow us to obtain this car or some other form of it. At that point in time, the environmental benefits will outweigh any bad economic influences it may cause by us owning one.
This reminded me of an article way back in the 1980's, in time magazine, where Tip O'neal then Speaker of the House, was featured in an Article detailing how, Congress and the Big 3 Car and Oil Companies, ganged up on this Race Car Driver, forcing him to give up his patent on a 180/mpg carbeurator.
For now, see what I am talking about here: Banned Car
At the time of this writing I was unaware of the fact, that Volkswagen was under indictment for violations of the Clean Air Act - this car does not meet U.S. Standards of Clean Air Emissions - it is up to Volkswagen to bring into compliance.
